It seems that every year there are increasingly more studies concerning natural products that are designed to help us have a better life. One major trend recently has been green tea. There are a lot of people that state the benefits of green tea are endless. There are many that make sure they drink at least one cup each day, and there are others who take green tea supplements. I'm unsure regarding the science behind his claims, but there are many, many individuals who believe them.
One of the first benefits of green tea I heard about was weight loss. I have heard many claims that green tea can help you lose fat by boosting your metabolic rate. I've also heard that one of the benefits of green tea is that it can help eliminate fat and toxins from your system. I don't know if it is true, but I know that when I drink a cupful of hot, green tea each night, I actually do tend to feel better for the most part. I'm unsure why this really is, but it is certainly a very good reason to keep having it.
Among the other advantages of green tea I've heard is that should you drink enough of it that it can enable you to restrain your appetite. I've seen weight-loss aids on the shelves at my local store that claim that this is among the great advantages of green tea, and that they have put this green tea promptly into their product. I also saw a gum made out of green tea, that has been designed to help curb your appetite between meals. I don't know if the green tea helps, but I do know that chewing gum in between meals can certainly prevent you from eating. This is much more of a psychological thing than anything else though.
It won't matter if you believe the benefits of green tea are good for you or not. The great thing about green tea is the fact that it certainly will not harm you should you drink it. If the only advantages of green tea are that you are relaxed and calm each evening, and perhaps it is certainly worth the trouble you may go to. If you're wondering what it can do for you, perhaps you should try a little to find out what may happen. Add green tea to your daily diet, and see if you find that you are feeling better, or simply losing weight a little more easily.
Another type of tea that's becoming common is nettle tea. For people who don't know nettle is a plant which has a long medicinal past with regards to purifying the body. One French article that i have recently discovered is stinging nettle (ortie) and may prove rather interesting to have a look.
